Tydavnet Tidy Towns Committee is delighted with the response to its appeal for help with the clean-up of the village. The Monday work-evenings have seen a good turnout of volunteers, including many new faces. A lot of work has been done over the last month…weeding; planting flower beds, pots and hanging baskets; cleaning the pavements and street furniture; building new flower beds, and much more. The Wildlife Garden is getting a major revamp and will continue to be a valuable asset for the community. Thank you to everybody involved for your time and effort, and also to all who have put their names on the rota for watering the flowers. The work continues every Monday evening (7- 9pm)…all help is greatly appreciated.
