The Finance Oversight committee of Tydavnet Tidy Towns will be in Tydavnet Community Centre on Sunday 6th May 2018 from 10.45 to 11.15am to accept donations. Another money count will happen on Tuesday 8th May, and it is hoped to pass the €40,000 by that time. Thanks to everyone for your donations – the response has been fantastic, and the carpark will be a wonderful amenity for the village. No contribution is too big, or too small – they are all appreciated  equally, just give what you can afford – it will make a great difference.

Given that the weather forecast for the weekend is pleasant, please come out and enjoy the music festival in the village on Sunday evening starting at 7pm. Cancel the cooking – there will be food available, and a great evening is in store. Star band “All folk’d up” will be on stage at 9pm, and they are really taking the music world by storm, after an amazing week entertaining at Cheltenham, and  supporting Nathan Carter at the London Palladium for St Patrick’s Day. A great evening is in store – your support is welcome.
