Children from St Dympna’s N.S., Tydavnet teamed up the local Tidy Towns group to participate in the Autumn Clean up on Friday 10th November 2016. During the short clean up the children collected a considerable amount of rubbish, including cigarette butts, drinks cans and bottles, crisp packets, sweet wrappers, cardboard cups and pizza boxes, much of which could have been recycled free of charge at the recycling bins at the Community Centre. The enthusiasm of the children was fantastic and they thoroughly enjoyed being part of this project and helping their local environment. Thanks to all the pupils who participated, they did a great job!
