The death has taken place of Timothy (Tadgh) Lyons, Forest, Carrigadrohid, Co Cork (formerly of Canovee) on the 30th of May 2023, at home, after a long illness, borne with dignity and fortitude, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents, Tadgh and Mary, and his brother Owen. Cherished husband of Maureen (Clerkin, Knockballyroney, Scotstown). Much loved father of Mark, Anne Marie, Martin, Barry, Paul and Damien. Adored by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by his brothers, Liam and Gerard and sisters, Mary, Joan, Anne, Nuala, Bernie, Evelyn, Trish and Kay, his daughters in law Mary Anne, Joanne, Karen, Lisa and Maureen and son in Law Gerry, his brothers and sisters in law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at home, (Eircode P12 DR79) from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday, 30th May. Rosary at 7pm; and on Wednesday, 31st May, from 11am to 7pm. Requiem Mass 11am Thursday, 1st June, in St. John the Baptist Church, Canovee (Eircode P12 HV57), can be viewed on www.munsterfunerallivestream.ie/timothy-tadgh-lyons. Funeral afterwards to St. Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom. May he rest in peace.
