The death has taken place of James (Jimmy) Sherlock, Drumguiney, Monaghan, and formerly of Tonyclay, Tydavnet (and Glencull, Ballygawley, Tyrone), on Friday 27th August 2021, peacefully, at Drumbear Lodge, Monaghan, in his 88th year. Predeceased by his brothers JohnJoe, Nicholas, Hughie, and Pat, and his sisters Mary (Sr Serenus), Brigid (Giltinane), and Eliz, and his dear brother in law Jimmie Sherry, Drumguiney. Jimmy will be sadly missed by his sister in law Dympna Sherlock (Smithboro), 13 nephews, 11 nieces, and the extended family circle. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at McMahon’s Funeral Home, Emyvale on Saturday 28th August and Sunday 29th August; friends and neighbours welcome from 4pm to 6pm both days.
