Knockatallon Chapel 2004 by Sean Corr
Knockatallon Tidy Towns group is having a fundraising raffle, which will be held online on Easter Saturday night. The money raised from this draw will go towards the renovation and preservation of the beautiful Marian grotto at St Joseph’s Church Knockatallon. It is hoped is to protect and enhance this beautifully constructed stone grotto, and continue with the summer floral displays and to complete a new Reflective Space.
During 2020 the group received funding from Monaghan County Council’s Community Enhancement grant 2020 to carry out works on the Community Reflective Space; the provision of Floral displays; a new green area, and drainage at the statue at Mulligans Hill; and new marble plaques on the Knockatallon signs.
Tickets for the Easter Raffle are €5 each or 3 for €10. They will be on sale from the Sliabh Beagh Hotel during food collection times and from Kathleen Murray and Mary Connolly. Your support is much appreciated for this important community project.
