This is an easy walk along forest paths that might be muddy if wet,  with a climb to the top of Knockmany where there will be carol singing and and a chance to enjoy your own light refreshments — e.g. mulled wine and mince pies — at Knockmany Cairn.  Walkers will than return to the Lower Car Park, where there will be a raffle followed by a short drive to Clogher Mart where there will be a chance to socialise and enjoy a meal of Irish/beef  stew (with vegetarian option for those who cannot take meat) and dessert.

The walk, including carols at the top of the hill, will take approximately 2.5 hours, and it is hoped to arrive at Clogher Mart between approximately 4.00pm and 4.30pm. There is a requested donation of £10 or €10 per person, all of which will go to this important charity. Club members are requested to bring a raffle prize (the more the merrier) and/or a sweet to follow the main meal at Clogher Mart of Irish stew. If you know that you will join this walk it would be helpful to be able to estimate numbers for catering purposes, therefore please let Mark Bailey (073 93206654) know in advance if you are planning to join the Mulled Wine walk and meal at Clogher Mart. Everyone welcome.
