World clean up Day: Tydavnet Tidy Towns did their Autumn clean up on Saturday 21st September 2019 in conjunction with Monaghan Municipal District to coincide with world clean up day. We would like to thank everyone who took part and did litter picks in their own town-land or the roads around their homes. A very special thank you to the pupils of St Dympna’s National school and their parents who turned out in great numbers to do the litter pick on Friday morning last.

Judgement day: The results of the SuperValu tidy towns competition will be announced next Monday 30th September in the Helix in Dublin. We would like to thank everyone who helped us throughout the year with work nights, watering, clean ups, sweeping etc. A special word of thanks to Martin McCarvill who supplies the begonias every year, and finally the local residents who maintain their properties to a very high standard. Best of luck to all in the competition. (Click on images to enlarge)
