Tydavnet Drama troupe is back treading the boards in Aggie Foley’s farmyard parlour. The selected play this year is “The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley” by Jimmy Keary, and it is directed by Pauric Connolly and Maura McCrudden. The playwright is from Rathowen, Co Westmeath, and this play made its stage debut in 1977. It promises to have you rolling round the floor laughing, you’re in for a treat when it takes to the stage in Tydavnet in February. Anyone who wishes to join the team of production crew (carpenters, set designers, make up artists, lighting or catering teams) is most welcome to come along and get involved, it’s great craic!
