On Sunday 28th October, Shane Caulfield from Drumscor, Scotstown will attempt the Beara Trail in Cork, which is 126 miles over 5 to 6 days. Shane is hoping to raise much needed charity funds for the British Red Cross Yemen crisis, where in the region of 13 million are at risk of starvation as a result of a three year civil war that has gripped the country, the worst famine in 100 years. There’s no pressure on anyone to donate. But please reflect on the seriousness of this situation and how your humanity and kindness can help reduce it’s severity.
