Trip to Kerry: The trip to Kerry which takes place 24th to 28th September is now full.
Walk: The walk on Wednesday 5th September is to Ballybay Wetlands. Meet at McNally’s Service Station, Cootehill Road at 10.00am. This is a fairly easy walk on level ground, a good one to join if you haven’t walked for a while. The walk on Wednesday, September 12th will take place at Gosford Park, Markethill. Meet at The Four Seasons Hotel Car Park, Monaghan at 10.00 am.
Coffee Morning: An informal Coffee Morning occurs every Thursday in Graham’s Coffee Shop, around 11.00. Everyone welcome.
Social Dancing: Due to a bereavement, the Social Dancing which was arranged for Corcaghan Community Centre has been put on hold for the moment. Further information will be circulated as it becomes available.
Monthly Talk: Our next monthly talk is on Friday 21st September in the Garage Theatre at 11.00am. It will be given by Fiona Gilliland, Physiotherapist, on the very important subject of ‘Dem Bones’ and how to look after them. Tea and Coffee will be available.
Classes: The following classes will take place at Monaghan United Grounds, Gortakeegan, unless otherwise stated.
Choir: Choir practice will resume on Tuesday 11th September, 11.30.
French: French will resume on Tuesday, September 11th at 2.15.
Gaeilge: Irish Language Classes will resume on Monday, September 17th from 2.30 -3.30.
Pilates: Further information in the next week or two.
Bowls: A Demonstration will take place on the Astro-Turf at Gortakeegan on Friday, September 13th from 2.30 -4.30. All welcome.
Flower Arranging: Wednesday, October 24th, Wednesday November 7th, Wednesday, November 21st and December 5th. Classes will take place from 2.00 -4.00 pm.
Spanish: Classes will resume on Wednesday, 12th at 2.30 in Andy’s.
Book Club: The next meeting is Thursday September 20th in the Four Seasons Hotel at 2.30. All welcome.
Gym Fitness: Resumes on Thursday September 13th at Milltown Business Park at 9.30 am.
Cards: Cards as in 45 will resume in Tydavnet Community Centre on October 24th. Anyone who would be interested in Cards (45) in Monaghan, should text Louis on 086 877 9466
Film Club: Will resume in October.
