Monaghan County Council’s Authorised Field Officers will shortly be commencing calling at each residence in County Monaghan to ascertain the number of occupants in each house over the age of 18 who are entitled to vote. (All of the representatives will be carrying valid ID, don’t be afraid to ask for it). We would appreciate your co-operation with them to ensure that you are registered correctly by providing name, address, date of birth and Eircode.

Please note that this information is being collated for the DRAFT Register of Electors 2019/2020 which will be published on 1st November 2018 and which will come into force on 15th February 2019. This will mean that for voting purposes your details will not come into effect until next year.

In the event of an Election/Referendum before the Draft Register is published, and if you are not currently registered, have moved address or turned 18 YOU MUST complete a Supplement application form. Application forms can be obtained at or at Monaghan County Council, County Offices, The Glen, Monaghan.
