Tydavnet’s Caitriona Balfe hit the red carpet at the 2018 BAFTA Awards (British Academy Television Awards) at The Royal Festival Hall on Sunday 13th May at the Royal Festival Hall in London, England. For the second year in a row, the awards ceremony were hosted by The Great British Bake-Off alumnus Sue Perkins, and Love Island narrator Iain Stirling provided the voiceover for the night. During the ceremony, Caitriona and her Outlander co-star Sam Heughan presented an award to Basquiat: Rage to Riches. The two are still hard at work filming for the fourth season of their popular TV series, with production set to wrap up later this summer. Fans of the show recently learned some exciting news: the series is being renewed for a fifth and sixth season.
Caitriona wore a strapless Delpozo confection that was dramatized by the explosion of navy and plum appliqués and feathered trim, and didn’t she wear it well!
