Thanks to everyone who came to the St Dympna’s Well walk on Sunday 13th May, in advance of the Saint’s feast day on 15th May. The weather was lovely, and the walk was a chance to take a bit of time out and enjoy the beauty and birdsong of the area, and the tranquility and peace of mind that St Dympna’s Well is known for. Thanks to the Williams and Bennett families for access to the site, to everyone who gave donations for ongoing upgrades to the access route and well, to Killylough Cycling Club and Knockatallon Ramblers for marshalling the event, and to Xavier Murray for carparking. We had visitors from Armagh, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Meath, as well as local people and children visiting the well for the first time. We hoped you all enjoyed the day.
