It’s now May 2018, and the Tydavnet School community has been very busy recently. The school earned it’s first Active School Flag in April, just reward for striving to achieve a physically educated and physically active school community. Apart from the curriculum focused lessons and Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation, school pupils have also been learning about nature, growing the plants kindly donated to the school by Silver Hill Garden Centre, Emyvale, and junior classes have been nurturing tadpoles in the classroom. Student Dara took part in the Spelling Bee competition, and all students are eagerly looking forward to the school tours. The Parent’s Association received a generous donation from Tydavnet Festival which will be put to good use,  and we’ll soon be bidding farewell to our sixth class. We wish them a lovely summer and best wishes on their adventure into Secondary School. So…… there’s lots happening, and lots planned!
