Clan McKenna will host an exhibition in the Market House, Monaghan on Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April 2018.
- Friday 20th – The official opening of the exhibition will take place at 6.30pm. Clan Chieftain, Jerry McKenna of Boerne, Texas will be in attendance.
- Saturday 21st April, exhibition open from 2 – 6pm. There will be a talk and presentation on DNA at 3pm, everyone is welcome. DNA testing is a very important tool for the family historian. It can help to verify your family tree and provide helpful clues to inform the future direction of your research. It can also sometimes help to break down those long-standing brick walls. So if you are into researching your family tree, this should be very interesting. All welcome.
- Sunday 22nd April, exhibition open from 2 – 5pm.

Clann MacKenna was established in 1990 to bring together McKennas locally, in and around Monaghan, and worldwide. The MacKenna name comes in many versions – MacKenna, McKenna, McKenny, MacCionaith and many more. Since it was established, Clann MacKenna has brought many members of the McKenna clan together at Clann McKenna events and we have developed close links in Monaghan and elsewhere including, Miramichi (St. Edward Island, Canada), New Zealand, USA, and we have also developed close links with the McKenna Clan of Chile, Argentina and other South American countries. Clann MacKenna also researches MacKenna history and heritage and to date we have published 10 “Clann MacKenna” Family History Books or Journals. New members always welcome.
