St Dympna’s National School Parent’s Association are holding a fundraising cake sale in aid of Seamus Bell’s ongoing medical treatment which will take place in St Dympna’s School, Tydavnet, on Friday 16th March 2018 at 12 noon. Seamus, who has nieces attending the school, was critically injured in an unprovoked “one-punch” attack in Carrickmacross on 20th January, the day he and Edel were celebrating the christening of their twin girls, Cara and Ava. He was first taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, but later rushed to Beaumont where he underwent emergency surgery. However, the fitness instructor remains in an unresponsive state since then. Seamus who also has a young son Raphael, only reached his 36th birthday on 5th February.
All donations and support for this fundraiser are much appreciated – Seamie’s profound brain injuries probably mean that in the future he will require 24 hour care, which will require money – lots of money. By his very nature Seamus was kind and big hearted, so we ask that you give this very worthy cause your best support. Please be generous.
