Christmas Coffee morning: Come to the Coffee morning this Friday, December 8th at 10.45. One of our members, Pat Golden, will give a cake icing demonstration. There will be a raffle for one of the cakes in aid of the Heart Foundation. It should be a lovely morning with a Christmas flavour.
Change of Venues: Due to the Christmas Fair taking place in the Market House some class venues are changed until after Christmas. They are as follows:
Choir –This Tuesday 12th, choir is in St. Joseph’s Pastoral centre at 12.00 to 1.30. The choir is taking part in the Carol service in Ballinode Church of Ireland on Sunday 17th December at 7.00pm.
French class is at 2.45, Tuesdays in Smithboro’ Presbyterian hall.
Spanish is in Andy’s, Wednesdays 2.30pm
Most classes will finish by Friday 15th December except Line Dancing which finishes on the 18th. Classes will resume in the New Year around the 15th January.
Walks: The walk on Wednesday December 13th is to Dartry Forest. Meet at McNally’s petrol station. Cootehill Road at 10.00am
Book Club: The next meeting is Friday 19th January in the Four Seasons hotel at 2.30. The book for this month is ‘The Magpie Murders’ by Anthony Horrowitz. If anyone has any books out belonging to the library, could they please return them.
Cuppa and Craic: Wednesdays afternoons in Smithboro’ Presbyterian hall, any time between 3.00 and 4.30. Come in for a chat and a cuppa, all welcome.
Mondays: Line Dancing in St. Joseph’s Pastoral centre 11.00 to 12.00.
Chess enthusiasts meet in Monaghan Library around 2.00pm
Irish is normally at 2.30pm

Coffee Morning, an informal coffee morning occurs every Thursday, Graham’s coffee shop.
Our AGM will take place in the Garage theatre on Friday February 9th. Our annual party will also be in February, place and date to follow.
