Local fundraising for the work of Fr Matthias Nsamba, Uganda

After a short stay in the home of Kate and Gerry Reilly in Tirnaskea South, Fr Matthias returns to his parish in Queenstown, Uganda on Monday 2nd July 2012. During his visit to the area, Fr Matthias participated in activities in Monaghan, Tydavnet  and Roslea parishes, raising funds for the Youth Alive program of AIDS/HIV workshops in South Africa which he describes as “a province of death, disaster and despair”. He usually presides at four funerals a week!! Funds raised will support his area recovering from effects of Apartheid, oppression, unemployment, lack of water and electricity, crime, AIDS and drug abuse.
