A novel mode of wedding transport was used in Tydavnet last Saturday 14th April when local groom Paul Meehan, Killylough turned up in his beloved tractor and sparkling baler to marry his beloved Lianne Connolly, Tullyvogey. Lianne trusted a much more elegant gold limousine to ferry her and her bridesmaids, twin sister Geraldine, and her cousin Martina Connolly-Hughes. Attending the groom were his brothers Enda and Declan Meehan. After the nuptials which were celebrated by Rev Sean Clerkin PE, it was off to the Errigal Country House, Cootehill for a great celebration and the music of Limelight, where the crowd partied nearly all weekend. Paul and Lianne, we all wish you lots of love, luck and happiness for your life together in Tullyvogey.
