Who are the Knockatallon Ramblers?
The knockatallon rambling club was formed in 2002 and has 40 members. It came about because John Mc Caughey and Paddy Sherry had nothing to do on Sundays only walk the mountains and forest tracks. Over the years they have been joined by other people who had the same interests. So if you have nothing to do on a Sunday why not join the ramblers on some of their walks. Most walks last anything from 2 to 4 hours and are at a leisurely pace. Our aim is to enjoy our heritage and wildlife and forget about the hassles of life for a few hours.
All walks are lead by experienced leaders.
